There will be two tiers of pricing for the 2026 tour of ‘The Complete Works of William Shakespeare – Abridged‘ to reflect the two versions of the show being toured.
Each show is priced individually on the number of students in attendance, which is based on an on-the-day headcount done by our actors, and confirmed with staff, to ensure accurate pricing for your show.

We operate on a basis of a minimum of 100 students, so if your audience size is less than 100, you will be billed at either $600+GST or $700+GST depending on your show length.
All prices are GST exclusive.
Terms & Conditions
Each show is charged based on the attendance rate for each individual show. For example, you might have one performance with 300 pupils in the audience, and one show with 80 – these will be charged at their respective rates above, NOT at 380 pupils.
CANCELLATION: A 7 day cancellation fee of the minimum fee ($600.00) exists once a booking is confirmed. At this stage we have already committed to the travel and it is too late to book another school.
Workshops are priced at $6 per student with a minimum of 10 students per workshop, and a maximum of 25. Please note that a teacher/member of staff is required to be present for the duration of the workshop.
Community shows are priced at $750.00 + GST and billeting the night of the performance.
All internet banking payments must be made within 7 days of performance.

The Ugly Shakespeare Company will make all effort to follow through on every booked performance. However, the show may be canceled or postponed due to acts of God, illness, mechanical failure and any other reason that may beyond the USC’s control. The USC is not liable for any costs incurred in the event of a cancellation that is beyond our control. In the unlikely event of this occurring, we will first of all endeavor to re-schedule. Where this is not possible we will discuss a possible discount for the following tour.

He Waka Eke Noa Charitable Trust (A canoe on which anyone may embark) was set up in 2002 to facilitate and ensure the growth of all forms of the arts in Aotearoa with a particular focus on nurturing youth arts.
Since then the company has produced 27 national theatre tours, produced several plays, 2 award winning short films, a web pilot, numerous festivals and arts events. He Waka also established and ran KickArts, a weekly arts radio show on PlanetFM, running since 2012. We handed it over to a new provider in 2020.
